Randy Huyser has nearly 40 years of investment experience on Wall Street both as a research analyst and portfolio manager for a number of hedge funds, brokerage firms, and major institutional investors. Most recently, he was a founder and Director of Research for San Francisco-based Full Compass Capital Management, an investment management company including a hedge fund start-up specializing in resources-related equities, and which was the predecessor to Full Compass Investment Advisors. Before that, he was Partner in charge of the San Francisco office for Crown Advisors International, a New York-based hedge fund specializing in emerging growth equities in technology, health care and service-based companies. During his 12 years as a sell-side research analyst, he was a Managing Director and Health Care Services Analyst for New York-based Furman Selz, and a Special Limited Partner and Health Care Services Analyst for San Francisco-based Montgomery Securities. Earlier in his career, he was a Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager for Hughes Aircraft Company Investment Management, and a Research Analyst for Transamerica Investment Research, both in Los Angeles. He earned his designation as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) in 1983.
